Turn on your water & depending on what you want, wait until …Now drop the Bath Bomb in the water as close to the water spout as possible (it won’t stay there for long, but just long enough to get the fizzing going). For more foam it helps to hold the bomb under the running tap. When the tub is as full as you like, get in. Simple!
Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond Oil) Sodium Lauryl Sulphoacetate. Parfum. CI14720. CI42090. CI19140
NOTE: to enable our bombs to foam they now contain SLSA and NOT SLS. This explains all about it –
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate is NOT SLS.
It is derived from coconut and palm oils. It is classified as a safe skin friendly surfactant for both skin and hair because of its large molecular structure. This mild plant derived surfactant creates a lather that effectively removes surface oil, dirt and bacteria, without stripping or drying sensitive skin. SLSA is also hydrophillic, this means it is attracted to water, which enables it to dissolve more readily in water, thus providing superior rinse ability. It is becoming the standard foaming ingredient for those who are looking for ‘natural’ products for body and haircare.
In simple terms, a bath bomb fizzes – which is probably why you will sometimes find that bath bombs are also described as bath fizzies. The main ingredients of a bath bomb combine together to cause a chemical reaction that produces the fizzing effect.
